Gotta give major props to the hubby for surprising me with some sweet 4th row tickets to Carrie Underwood's concert! I was so excited I could barely handle it. Unfortunately Dave could not go, so I took one of my good friends and possibly the biggest Carrie fan I know, Hope, with me. We had a blast getting there early and trying to get backstage passes :), rocking to the opening band, which I loved, "Little Big Town" (their album is now on my Christmas list :), and meeting everyone around us. It was a party, seriously so fun. I have never sat that up close at a concert before and it was AMAZING! (Yes, that is a Utah word, I just learned, but in being honest, I must confess-I do use it a lot!) She was so good and her voice was so clear and beautiful. Not to mention she is so beautiful! Love her style and class and cute personality. I think she had about 7 different 'sparkly' microphones, and even the little patch on her back pocket for her mic matched every fabric she wore. Wow! So fun to see. Here are some pics and the video clips I got...I must just give a disclaimer and share that of course the sound does not come out even a portion as great as it did in person. You have to remember I had drunk people singing all around me, as loud as they could! So the movie is just a fun memory for the feel of it. :) I'm sure you knew that.

That is a great Hubby! WOW! I love that you brought Hope with you..she is just a cutie! Maybe you and I can go watch Hope in concert someday:) I use amazing alot too..oh well.

Okay to everyone who has posted, and and will post after me,
THIS CONCERT WAS AMAZING!
Shannon knows Carrie is my hero,
and for her and Dave to do this for me, seriously the nicest thing anyone has EVER, or COULD ever do for me!
I love them with all my heart!
Carrie entered through the stage, mic in hand, I was totally bawling.
And the fact that I was there with Shannon, one of my greatest friends, and heroes >along with Carrie<, made it THAT much better!
I was in this glazed mode the whole time not actually believing that I was there. We were so close that we could see the sweat on her brow.
And Little Big Town was AMAZING as well.
I still cannot express my appreciation and excitement about all that the Norton's have done for me, and this concert!!
